Prof. P.K.Abdul Azis, the VC of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) carries a heartiest wish to see the special centre of Kishanganj after his first visit on May 22, 2011 to the beautiful land inhabited by simple yet charming people. The VC of AMU in his short visit to Kishanganj felt the dismal position of unfortunate people residing in the district and still living with amenities more or less like Pre-Independence era. Prof Azis has always supported the people coming forward for the AMU Centre in Kishanganj including Delhi based AMU Centre Co-ordination Committee. The Vice Chancellor of AMU has given a detailed presentation during 'National Conference on AMU Centre' organised by 'AMU Centre Co-ordination Committee' on September 30, 2011 at India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi.
