On the second day of Seva Yatra in Kishanganj, Bihar Chief
Minister Nitish Kumar spent the time in the district headquarters. Post lunch
Kumar referred to as ‘Vikas Purush’ (Development Man) reached the historic
Ruidhasa Maidan to address the common people. To the utter surprise the
much-talked Chief Minister labeled with various development pro quotes by the
world media received very less footfalls at the venue. As per local
correspondent of KBC, around 3000 to 4000 people gathered at Ruidhasa to listen
Nitish Kumar, where he declared many projects also take a dig on 999 years
lease of about 300 acres land of Afzal Hussain to Rahmani Foundation.
Like the first day, veteran leader of Janata Dal (United)
Mohammad Taslimuddin was absent from the convoy of Nitish Kumar. JD (U) MLA from Thakurganj Naushad Alam, JD
(U) leaders Syed Mahmood Ashraf (MP Candidate), Master Mujahid (MLA candidate Kochadhaman),
Musawir Alam (MLA Candidate Bahadurganj), Qamrul Hoda, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal (MLC)
had joined Nitish Kumar along with many others.
Although there was huge gathering of local leaders of JD(U)
and BJP on the stage but the charm was missing somewhere from the public
gathering. Political experts of the area said the less attendance at the venue
was because of absence of Taslimuddin from Nitish’s Seva Yatra in Kishanganj.
Nitish Kumar had witnesses tens of thousands of people at same Ruidhasa Maidan
on July 4, 2010 when Taslimuddin joined his party.
Now the speculations are high that Taslimuddin is joining
RJD, the less crowd at Ruidhasa Maidan somehow is disappointing form Nitish
Kumar and his government. If Taslimuddin joins RJD or other political party,
Sharad Yadav led Janata Dal (United) has to hunt for another strong leader from
the area who can represent the party properly among the masses.
