In a positive move towards the establishment of AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) campus in Kishanganj, the AMU Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen (Retd.) Zameeruddin Shah is visiting the district headquarter on Monday (April 1, 2013). The information was shared by AMU official with Human Chain President Mohammad Aslam over telephone. It should be noted that Mr. Shah had promised a delegation of Human Chain that he would plan a visit to Kishanganj on December 5, 2012. Keeping his promise AMU Vice Chancellor and his team is visiting Kishanganj to inspect the 224.02 acres land given by Bihar government in the outskirts of district headquarter at Chakla Village.
Human Chain President Mohammad Aslam has thanked Mr. Shah along with core team members of the society namely Minnat Rahmani, Tauquir Alam (JNU), Tauqueer Alam (MSW), Dr. Touquir Rahi, Mujahid Akhtar Naaz, Khalid Mubashshir, Nawed Shamshi, Anzar Alam, Tarique Sufyan, Mumtaz Naiyer (NRI), Khaiyam Akthar (NRI), Waquar Ahmad Khan (NRI), Shah Firoz, Ghulam Tarique, Dilshad Alam, Shah Azam, Mokarram Zia, Ghaznafar Elahi, Manazir Ahsan, Ghaznafar Elahi and Sarwar Alam.
