The Governor of Bihar cum Chancellor of Bihar Universities, HE Shri Ramnath Kovind declared the names of acting Vice-Chancellors of eight (8) Universities of the state. On 31st January 2017, the names of acting Vice-Chancellors were declared by a circular released by Governor Secretariat keeping in the mind the end of tenure of current VCs.
The names of Vice-Chancellors of Eight Universities is given below:
1. Patna University, Patna - Professor Sudhir Kumar Srivastava, w.e.f. 31st January, 2017
2. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur - Prof. Ravindra Kumar Verma 'Ravi' w.e.f. 03rd February, 2017
3. Magadh University, Bodhgaya - Prof. Kusum Kumari, w.e.f. 10th February, 2017
4. Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga - Prof. Rajkishor Jha w.e.f. 05th February, 2017
5. Tilka Majhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur - Prof. Khesemendra Kumar Singh w.e.f. 07th February, 2017
6. Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga - Prof. Vidhyadhar Mishra w.e.f. 2nd February, 2017
7. Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, Patna - Prof. Ramesh Chandra Singh w.e.f. 01st February, 2017
