When talked about specialties that is the things which represent the district of Kishanganj, one can count a number of things. From dressing to eating habits, the people of the district have a legacy of things and still the decades old traditions are followed. Speaking Surjapuri language, wearing lungi and ganji, eating mudhi, are some of those specialties. Despite venturing to any part of the world, the people of the area never forget the basics. In fact, we feel a distinct pleasure in those old peculiarities of Kishanganj district. Here I am sharing some of the specialties of Kishanganj.

Banana trees in Bagalbari village, close to Mastan chowk. You can find banana trees in almost every house of the villages of Kishanganj. People use to eat bananas and also earn some money by selling them.

You can't imagine a village in Kishanganj without bullocks and cows. Bullocks are good source of income for the owners.
