Rahul Gandhi visits Kishanganj on February 2, 2010

Wow….after making hundreds of visits around various parts of the country, finally charming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is visiting Kishanganj at around 3.15 pm on February 2, 2010. Known for his unique charismatic personality, Rahul Gandhi will spend around 2 hours in Kishanganj and is supposed to attend two meetings. Rahul Gandi, the general secretary of Congress will address the common people at Kishanganj’s Khagra Stadium.

The visit of Rahul Gandhi in Kishanganj is seen as a beginning of new political wave among youths. In fact, since his entry into the active politics Rahul Gandhi has taken a number of commendable steps that have been appreciated by all. Now the country’s youth and middle and lower-middle class people take inspiration from Rahul Gandhi. Fact is that, the Sachar Committee recommendations, Right to Information (RTI) and NREGA schemes have also been linked with Rahul Gandhi.

Being one of the most backward district in India, Kishanganj also has high expectations from Rahul’s visit. Kishanganj is battling with so many issues since independence that include illiteracy, unemployment, corruption, etc. Hope the locals would take full benefit of Rahul Gandhi’s visit and would make the youth leader aware about the dismal condition of the district.

At last, on behalf of Kishanganj and its people, I offer a warm welcome to Rahul Gandhi to the district that is fondly referred to as the “Heaven of Bihar”. We expect much from you and always ready to lend our support to your genuine causes.
