People of Kishanganj gets proper road communication

1
Roads are the main mean of communication in Kishanganj district. But since the country’s independence to early 2000s, Kishanganj district was not well connected with good motorable roads. A single road was running from Kishanganj to Bahadurganj, further linking to Dighalbank, Tulsia. Most of the brides on these route were wooden, that usually being damaged by the heavy rains and floods. Fact is that, road transport was full of hassle, and it used to take hours to reach the desired destinations. Due to bad road condition, sick people lost their valuable life. On the whole, people of Kishanganj were still living in the pre-independence era.

Thankfully due to Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) lauched by the BJP Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the year 2000, the district headquarters has now almost become well connected from all every nook and corner. Now you can see the sea of vehicles on the roads like buses, jeeps and Kishanganj’s own invented motorized thela (van). Availability of large number of public transport vehicles made the travel across Kishanganj district hassle free.

In fact, the MP (Member of Parliament) Mr. Taslimuddin has also played a major role in connecting the districts with concrete roads. You can see the changes and betterment in conditions of roads on Kishanganj – Bahadurganj road. Road No 50 from Mastan Chowk to Sontha has also became very good and you will never face any problem to reach district headquarters. Another concrete road connecting Dakopara to Angar and Barbata has made the district headquarters easily accessible. Now one can easily reach Kishanganj within an hour from Barbata, Sontha or Bahadurganj. Recently on my trip to my hometown I have clicked some photographs. I am sharing those photographs with you all.

  1. Dear Mudassir Sb,
    Asslam-o-Alaikoom,
All praises 4 such a wonderful presentation of Kishanganj.
Bt I'uld suggest you to add a few more illustrious names of local people who made tremendous efforts 4 the district.May be you've forgotten them. The names u've mentioned r d ones who've reaped from what the others have sowed.
Even if d people r wasting time... bt u shouldn't paint ur people like that to the outside world.
Anywayz, Keep up the good work

    Regards,
