Kishanganj News: Man throws acid on wife, sister-in-law

KISHANGANJ: In a shocking incident, a man poured acid on his wife and wife's sister while they were sleeping in a village near Kishanganj on Saturday night. The sisters are now battling for life in a Kishanganj hospital where they were admitted with 70% burn injuries.

Zahoor, who sprinkled acid on wife Zaheeda and saali Khurshida in his house at Gangijat village, has been arrested.

DSP Rawish Kumar said the immediate cause for such a behaviour on the part of the husband is still not known. The couple have been married for over twenty years.
