So, the Lok Sabha (parliamentary) elections are just round the corner. Poll campaigns are going on full swing and political leaders are trying their best to woo the voters. In our district Kishanganj, Bihar polling date falls on 30th April, 09. Like other parts of nation in our district too the contestants are doing everything to win.
This time five candidates are fighting elections, namely Mohd. Taslimuddin (Rashtriya Janata Dal), Syed Mahmood Ashraf (Janata Dal United – NDA), Maulana Asrarul Haque (Congress), Sikandar Singh (Rashtriya Sewa Dal) and Mohd. Zubair Alam (Bahujan Samaj Party).
If we take into account past records, then it seems current MP (Member of Parliament) Mohd. Taslimuddin can emerge as a clear winner. Most importantly the opponents of Taslimuddin are not much stronger, so it can be one sided win for the current MP.
Now the million dollar question is. To whom we should vote? We should vote to whom who can work for development and betterment of the district and its people. I think we all are very much intelligent, and have the ability to think right or wrong. So, please before casting your vote think yourself and don’t come under others’ influence.
The role of youths becomes very important as well. According to reports there are 2 lakh 86 thousand young voters in Kishanganj, which is significant enough to provide win to a suitable candidate.
Let us hope, whoever deserves should win the election and he will work for the betterment of Kishanganj.

Its is rightly mentioned that Kishanganj is populated with more youth than any other group. I think the youth of Kishanganj should now choose a young and clean leader like Dr. Jawed, who has shown that he is not only honest but a proactive leader in his term as a state minister of Bihar. His role in the floods in Bihar have been commended well. It is good to see educated and clean politician from our constituency.
