Duty to your native land is one of the essential parts of everyone’s life. Keeping in mind the duty to our native land Kishanganj, some of us organised a small discussion session in Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) New Delhi on August 16, 2009. The motive of the meet was discussing various issues regarding Kishanganj and neighbouring areas, namely Katihar, Purnea, Araria and Uttar Dinajpur. Around 15 people from the region attended the meeting and the discussion remained fruitful. We ended the meeting with a vow to do something on ground level for the upliftment of Surjapuris.
