That means around 149 Madarsas in Kishanganj are running without a building. Thanks to DM Kishanganj, as Kishanganj and its people has got funds for construction of madarsa buildings. After finding out the land for proposed AMU Study Campus in Kishanganj that later approved by the Bihar Government, the District Magistrate Mr. Feraque Ahmad has got another success in approval of funds for construction of Madarsa buildings in the district during Multi-sectoral Development Plan (MsDP) meet in New Delhi this past week.

Mr. Feraque Ahmad participated in the Multi-sectoral Development Plan (MsDP) meeting in the national capital on December 7, 2009. “Under MsDP project Kishanganj has got approval for Rs 76 crore for various projects that include construction of Madarsa buildings”, informed DM Kishanganj on telephonic conversion. “Once the money is received, the construction work would be started”, added Mr. Feraque Ahmad.

Following his return to Kishanganj, Mr. Feraque Ahmad organised a press meet and briefed about the MsDP project. While talking with media persons, he informed about various other aspects related to the project and other steps to be taken in the future for schools and madarsas after getting the fund.
In addition to the construction of madarsa buildings across the district, separate toilets for boys will be constructed in 25 high schools and 12 high-school level madarsas.
