AMU Kishanganj: Letter of Bihar Govt to AMU VC

5
The day (September 30, 2011) when the AMU Centre Coordination Committee (Delhi) had organised the "National Conference on AMU Centre Kishanganj", the Bihar Govt had issued a letter addressing to AMU VC regarding the land issue and delays. There is nothing new in the letter sent to AMU VC Prof P K Abdul Azis, as the Bihar Government has once again repeated it stand and trying to misguide the people. Fact is that, the 3 pieces land is not at all suitable for the proposed centre and as the AMU VC once again repeated during the conference, the AMU administration can accept the 2 piece lands close to the proposed site. Below is the complete letter sent by Anjani Kumar Singh to AMU VC:

  1. The land's being not contiguous rather, being in pieces, is not the only vital factor for AMU VC's not agreeing to the proposal. There are two more and event more important factors that should be highlighted. They are no. 1. The govt. of Bihar has offered the land on lease only for 30 years. and no. 02 Part of the offered land is illegally occupied by tribals of Jharkhand, Bengal and even from Nepal.

  2. Nitish did the historically blunder of his political carrier, his denial to contiguous land for AMU center in Kishanganj (Bihar)was a big political fault, because any education institution never seen as a religious or a particular religion property, its property of the whole people of Bihar not only Muslims alone. Hope this new era of communication will taught a lesson to this Janta Dal (U) government very soon. Hurdle created by some other local politician will also get very soon sour taste in coming election in contemporary era but their cheap and dirty politics will always save in history.

  3. That is really ridiculous in the state of self claiming Vikas purush Shree Nitish Kumar's government. After looking out Bihar government's responses toward AMU establishment in Bihar and according to current scenario Bihar government do not want to see AMU branch in Bihar land.

whatever Nitesh have promised with the people Kishanganj or AMU comity all was for back to the government and now he is in cm chair. In other hand we can say Nitesh kumar also going in path of Lalu/Rabri's. He should not forgot the current status of lalu/rabi's in bihar. He must to remember that public is the key for democratic state and most people of Bihar want to see AMU branch in Bihar and 90% public of Kishanganj, Aria, Purnia, and Katihar want AMU branch within time frame. Can you amazing what will be if these distt will not support to Nitesh’s party?

My dear friendz and brothers and sisters also come forward join the AMU movements!

  4. AMU centre is a controversial issue as AMU community were divided on issue. The centres in mallapuram a V.C home place, was due to special interest by V.C. Murshidabad is a constituency of pranab mukherjee union minister. AMU have acquired non contiguos land in murshidabad, but AMU V.C is insisting for contiguous land for bihar.Bihar government is offering the land and government has agreed to clear the land from tribal occupation. The distance between AMU centre kishanganj and murshidabad is just 310 KM.I request you all to ask V.C TO ACCEPT THE LAND OFFERED BY BIHAR GOVERNMENT and the egoism will not lead us to anywhere.

  5. Dear Sanjay, many like u raise finger over the intention of AMU VC for not accepting the 3 pieces of land in Kishanganj. In fact, many believe on the statement of Bihar Govt that the land in Murshidabad is in two pieces. Let me clear the doubts here, the land in Murshidabad is crossed by a canal, which is officially the part of AMU Special Centre. In Kishanganj the 3 pieces are seperated by tribal population, which is problemtic now and it will be problematic in future as well. VC is ready to accept the two piece land in Kishanganj if the tribals will be rehabilitated to other place. Next, Bihar govt is offering the land in 30 years lease, here again it shows foul play....
