FIR lodged against Kishanganj’s JD (U) leader Captain for theft of electric wire

In a very cheap type of revelation a FIR has been lodged against Wasim Raza Khan alias Captain at Sadar Police Station by Kishanganj Electricity Department official Prem Raj. The Janata Dal (United) leader who is also the president of unit’s minorities cell  was today booked in a case for theft of electric wire in Kishanganj.

The police has started an investigation in the case against the JD(U) leader Khan. Till the report is published no comments have come in connection with the FIR from the main accused Captain. However, the local party leaders who are also the close associate of Khan totally denied the allegations and claimed them as baseless.

This is true that in the district of Kishanganj the corruption is in all time high. The low level political leaders and workers occupy unfair means for corruption like the theft of electric wires or tamper with the materials like cement, stones, sand, rod, etc. used in construction of government buildings and roads. The FIR against Khan is first of its kind done by a prominent leader from political party, but this is an eye-openor and raises question over the vigilance of the district administration.
