Kishanganj is leaping ahead on the path of development especially in the field of education. In the recent time many proud youths of this small district in north-eastern part of Bihar have achieved milestones in various fields of education. The latest addition in this highly coveted list is Aamir Zeb, who has scored a whooping 99.67 percentile in CAT exam this year. Aamir has made entire Seemanchal and Bihar proud by cracking one of India’s most prestigious entrance tests this year.
Belonging to Gostara village of Kishanganj, Aamir is proud son of Mr. Zubair Alam, Deputy Director, DD News. Currently Aamir is doing B.tech / M.tech (integrated 5 years course) from Chemical Engineering branch from IIT Delhi, which is going to finish in May 2013.
However, there was not end of road for Aamir as the great champ who says, “life screws u hardest when u think u have somewhat figured it out”, was eyeing for achieving much bigger in the form of CAT. He has already received a job offer from Bain & Co, a US based World's No.1 Consulting Company.

Aamir has done his 10th from Don Bosco School, Siliguri (West Bengal) in the year 2006, which is about 100 kms away from Kishaganj. Further he had completed his 10+2 from St. Columbus School during 2006-2008 session. IIT Delhi was his next destination where he got admission in Chemical Engineering branch and took active participation in extra-curricular activities within the campus.
Aamir has set an example for the generations to come and also emerged out as a role model for those aspiring for IIT and CAT. If Aamir takes out time from his busy schedule it would be very helpful for youths of Seemanchal area in Bihar.

- Won Mr. Genius and Sword of Honour Awards, an annual award given to the student who represents the spirit of St. Columbus school in best way.
- Won the Best Fresher's Award in IIT, Delhi
- Aamir is also a tennis player of outstanding repute and has beaten No.1seed, while playing Sunfeast Open in Kolkata. In Delhi too he had won single's title and was the runners-up in double's event.
