DM Kishanganj! Trees will be planted on AMU Kishanganj land

Keeping his promise to safeguard the 224.02 acres of AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) Kishanganj land, Aditya Kumar Das, the District Magistrate of Kishanganj declared to plant tress of proposed campus. This decision has been taken after the District Magistrate had received no objection from AMU Registrar for going ahead with plantation on the boundary of AMU land. The tree plantation will be done under the MNREGA scheme, which will cost around 32 lakh.


While contacted DM of Kishanganj has said that 32 lakh rupees will be spent for plantation under MNREGA scheme. As per estimate of Mr. Das, around 5200 trees will be planted initially along the boundary of AMU campus in Kishanganj. The decision of District Magistrate Kishanganj is welcomed by resident of Kishanganj and AMU Kishanganj activists including Human Chain members Mohammad Aslam, Minnat Rahmani, Tauquir Alam, Mohd Mujahid Akhtar and many others.
