Matriculation (Board) Exam starts in Bihar! 9,708 appearing in Kishanganj

Matriculation (Board) Exam is started today across various districts of Bihar for the 2012-13 session. As per official input, in Kishanganj district a total of 9,708 candidates are appearing for matriculation exam that includes 5,117 boys and 4,591 girls. The exam is held across 15 centres across the district headquarters of Kishanganj namely Inter High School (Higher Secondary), Girls High School, National High School, Marwari College, R K Saha Women’s College, Jagannath Middle School, Line Urdu Middle School, Sardar Gopal Singh Middle School, G B M School, St Xavier School, Pratap Middle School, Siksha Sudhar Middle School. Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School, M G M Medical College and Saraswati Vidhya Mandir. 


The examination is held in two sittings from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The students have been given additional 15 minutes before the start of exam as a reconciliation session. In order to ensure fair examination the district authority has made proper arrangements in and around the examination centre. Section 144 of Indian Penal Code has been implemented around 200 meters of the centres. Videography is also done in the examination centres for keeping vigil eye on the candidates.
