In a positive development related to AMU Kishanganj centre, a team of M/S EdCIL will visit Kishanganj on May 17, 2013 to collect some essential information in order to prepare the DPR (Detailed Project Report). AMU Registrar Group Capt. (Retd.) Shahrukh Shamshad has written a letter to Kishanganj DM Aditya Kumar Das (IAS) for providing assistance to DPR preparing agency team. The letter was shared with Human Chain by AMU Nodal office on 15th May, 2013.
It should be noted that EdCIL (Educational Consultants India Limited) a government of India Enterprise is preparing DPR / DFR for AMU Kishanganj. The visit of EdCIL is remarkable since it would push ahead the process of establishment of AMU Centre in Kishanganj. The visiting team will stay at Kishanganj for two hours between 9 am and 11 am on 17th May, 2013. As per sources the DPR preparation would take at least two months then it would be tabled before the MHRD for token grant of Rs. 30 crore
