Earthquake strikes North India, epicentre on J&K and Himachal border

An earthquake of 5.8 magnitude jolted North India on Wednesday afternoon at around 12:30 pm. Reports said the quake was felt across Delhi &NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and adjoining areas. The quake is having its epicentre on Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh border. The quake that struck at 12:31 pm lasted for about 10 seconds. So far, there have been no reports of loss of lives or damage to property. This is the third quake felt in North India in the past three weeks.
