The Patna based Rahmani 30 IIT JEE Coaching Centre has come out with flying colours in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. Seven students out of the total 24 Rahmani 30 students have cracked the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced 2013 conducted for entry into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The successful candidates from Rahmani 30 are Sajid Iqbal, Maa'z Haider, Munwwar Hameed Nazri,  Aatif Gulbaaz,  Irshad Ziya, Khushnoor Qadir and Mohd Danish Hussain. Besides these successful candidates Mohd Tehseen Alam - a 2012 batch student who has given the exam based on the old pattern, has also cleared the IIT-JEE.

All the successful students from the institute have thanked Abhay Anand for his guidance and encouragement along with coaching teachers and founder Maulana Wali Rahmani for all support. Anand said, “Their hard work has paid off. We will try to create more achievers continuously. I encourage those 17 who had missed the bus to not let disappointment creep in as it was not the last examination.” “If they continue to work harder, they can get even better ranks than others,” added the DGP who mentors Rahmani students.

The JEE this year was conducted in two parts for the first time. JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced are the newer version of the earlier IIT-JEE, the joint entrance exam for admission to IITs. The IITs announced the results two days ahead of the scheduled date, June 23, a move which surprised everyone. Nevertheless, the JEE website was clogged within minutes as soon the news reached to the aspirants.

Brainchild of Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani, Rahmani-30 was launched in July 2008. It provides free coaching to poor Muslim students from government schools for competitive exams. In its first batch it created history when all its ten students who appeared for the IIT-JEE 2009 cleared the coveted exam. The results were surprising as all of these ten students were from poor family backgrounds and had completed their 10+ exams from Municipal primary schools.

Rahmani 30 along with IIT-JEE also provide free coaching to poor students for Chartered Accountant (CA) entrance. Though headquartered in Patna, Rahmani 30 has branch offices in other parts of the country.
