Anand Kumar addressing the gathering

Mohammad Aslam, president Human Chain in his brief speech thanked Mr. Kumar for accepting his invitation despite his busy schedule. Reminding the audience about Mr. Kumar’s visit to Human Chain’s “Seemanchal Taleemi Mela” at Kishanganj in November 24, 2013, Mr. Aslam again expressed his gratitude. Mr. Aslam said, it was only Human Chain which took Mr. Kumar to Seemanchal area for the first time, where he had announced to conduct the entrance for admission in Super 30, which offers coaching for IIT JEE. Now, Mr. Kumar has reached to Okhla locality for the first time with the efforts of Human Chain, added Mr. Aslam. We would request Mr. Kumar to interact with students belonging to Muslim community, so that they can get proper guidance to achieve their goals especially by cracking the premier entrances like IIT – JEE.

Human Chain secretary Tauqueer Alam, treasurer Mujahid Akhtar, Salam Anwar, Nasim Haider, Shah Azam, Mokarram Zia, Dilshad Alam, Najeeb Sagar, Ghulam Tarique were present at the venue with other members. They too interacted with Mr. Kumar personally with their series of queries.

Mr. Kumar was highly delighted after seeing the enthusiastic gathering at the venue. Later he had shared his feelings on his official Facebook page, “Last Sunday, after morning classes, I left for Delhi to deliver a lecture in Panipat. Just a day earlier, I had talk with the president of Human Chain, Md. Aslam. On his request, I decided to meet the students of Jamia Millia Islamia and those associated with Human Chain. But when I reached there, I was surprised to see that the auditorium of the headquarter of Students Islamic Organization of India was packed with students. It was a site that inspired me, as they were all bubbling with enthusiasm.
I spoke for around two hours and they all listened with rapt concentration. In the course of that I realized that today's youth are no more concerned about caste and religion; rather they are genuinely interested in quality education in the country for real development. They aspire for better facilities. In modern times, India has just two classes - rich and poor. Today, the need for the youth is to realize that the most important responsibility for the government is to make quality education through schools and colleges accessible to the poor. Education alone has the power to usher in change, nothing else. This is what should be the societal agenda we all should pursue. Seeing the enthusiasm of the youth, I can tell you that I have tremendous hope if there is concerned leadership, things will certainly change. A revamped education system from primary to higher is what India needs to match the best in the world. And with the demographic dividend of a young population, this should be the focus. This is the panacea for all the ills the country is facing and we should all strive to make education the real agenda. What is more, promises alone cannot make it happen, intent certainly will…..Jai Bharat…..Jai Hind.”
