Setback! No stoppage at Kishanganj for Premium AC Special Train Between Kamakhya and New Delhi

Indian Railways will run one premium special train between Kamakhya and New Delhi for clearance of extra rush. However, as usual Kishanganj Railway Station has been again neglected by Railways, which is a matter of concern for passengers commuting during summer rush. The stoppage of this train would have been very helpful for residents of Kishanganj currently based out of Delhi and NCR. When the Railways will bring Kishanganj into consideration and offer such facilities of special trains, this is a big question. Maulana Asrarul Haque, the MP of Kishanganj must raise the voice in parliament and before Union Railway Minister Sadanand Gowda about his constituency and need of the people. Unless such negligence would continue further as well.

The train 02503/02504  Kamakhya – New Delhi Weekly Premium AC Special Train will made 4 trips each from Kamakhya and New Delhi.  02503 Ex Kamakhya on Wednesday Date of Run: 30.07.14, 06.08.14, 13.08.14 & 20.08.14 = 04 Trips 02504 Ex New Delhi on Thursday Date of Run: 31.07.14, 07.08.14, 14.08.14 & 21.08.14 = 04 Trips The train stops at New Jalpaiguri (NJP), Katihar (KIR), Barauni (BJU), Varanasi (BSB) and Lucknow (LKO) in between Kamakhya and New Delhi.

Composition: The train has four AC two tiers, eight AC 3 tiers and a pantry car, and two generator car. The fare of the train is dynamic , which is progressively increasing. In the fare catering charges are included. No concession shall be applicable in this train. Ticket will not be available at PRS and will o­nly be available at www.irctc.co.in  within 15 days from the date of Journey of each trips. There is no provision for cancellation of tickets o­nce purchased.
