As per the memorandum the two year training course was started by DIET in 2011, and there are already two batches of passing out students from 2011-13 and 2012-14 sessions. Ironically the Bihar government had not conducted any TET test before 2013, hence as per the delegation they deserve the appointment along with TET pass out students. In contrary, many untrained candidates who have only qualified TET are considered for candidature in the present teacher recruitment process. Although, DIET trained candidates too appeared in TET but many of them couldn’t qualify the screening conducted by the state government and presenting strong points in their favour to be part of the appointment process.
After meeting DM, the members of unemployed trained teacher union of Kishanganj unit are next planning to meet the education minister and other concerned from Bihar government with their plea.
