AMU Admissions 2016-17! Kishanganj declared as test centre for MBA & BEd courses

Good news for people / students of Seemanchal region especially for the district of Kishanganj, as the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has declared the Test Centres for MBA/MBA (IB)/PGDIBF and B.Ed courses in the town. As per the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations Prof. Javaid Akhter, the entrance tests for both MBA/MBA (IB)/PGDIBF and B.Ed courses shall be held on 22nd May 2016 at Kishanganj along with centres at Aligarh, Murshidabad (West Bengal) and Malappuram (Kerala). The decision of AMU administration to holding the entrance test at Kishanganj is welcomed by the AMU alumni of Seemanchal as well as educationists, activists, etc. of the region.

It should be noted that the entrance test centre for MBA/MBA (IB)/PGDIBF and B.Ed courses was withdrawn from Kishanganj in last year (academic session 2014-15), which was highly criticised by the people of Seemanchal. In fact, the number of applicants reduced due to the test centre at Patna, and also the number of successful candidates from the districts of Kishanganj, Uttar Dinajpur, Purnia, Araria, Katihar and Madhepura significantly reduced. the local AMU alumni have requested the AMU Kishanganj Director, the Controller of Examinations and Vice-Chancellor for holding the test at Kishanganj.  In view of the facts presented by various sources, the AMU Administration has declared entrance test centre at Kishanganj, which would surely increase the number of applicants from this region and number of successful candidates.
