Its pity to see the local politicians of Kishanganj (Seemanchal) region are entangled in verbal duels instead of finding solution for the tragedy that has struck the masses. Because of the recent flood in the area ~2 million people still counts the loss, their houses have been damaged extensively, crops destroyed and livestock washed away in the flood. With the zeal to know the whereabouts of flood affected people, many politicians (outsiders) visited the area including Syed Shahnawaz Hussain of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Asadduddin Owaisi of All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslemin (AIMIM). We welcome them if they try to find solution for the area. Nevertheless all four local MLAs of Kishanganj belongs to the ruling coalition of Mahagathbandhan(JDU-RJD-Congress).
It is sad to see instead of forcing the state govt. for special package they started targeting AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi who was first to raise the issue in the parliament. Why they did not attack Shahnawaz Hussain whose party is ruling at the centre? How did he reach the area without any assurance from Central govt. for a special package?
Please show us the road map; we are pissed off because of your verbal duels which are non-directional most of the time. It is/was never constructive. You have been elected to do the job, if I have voted for you, I have the full right to criticise if you fail to do the job.
Seemanchal also votes for a Maharashtra based party. You elect time and again Tarique Anwar of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). My question! What he and his boss “Sharad Pawar” did for this region? Sharad Pawar being an Agriculture minister could have done a lot for this region in UPA I and UPA II. I don’t know if he ever visited this neglected region or tried to solve problems of poor farmers of this region but he did a lot for Marathwada in Maharashtra. No one ever raised such issues or questioned Tarique Anwar or attacked Sharad Pawar for fielding candidates in Seemanchal during state and General elections.
Dear politicians stopped your hypocrisy. We shall expose you if you don’t mend your ways or do your job for which you have been elected. For you, Asaduddin Owaisi could be an easy target, but don’t forget we are watching your actions and words both. I wish people elect their representatives based on performance rather than rhetoric.
Hope better sense prevail.
