Insan School, the oldest public school in Kishanganj district and perhaps in Seemanchal region is ready for Golden Jubilee Celebration. A mega event named as “Insan 50 – Anniversary” is scheduled to be held during November 13 – 18, 2016 in the school premises situated in district headquarter of Kishanganj. It should be noted that the school was established by the renowned educationist and social reformist Late Syed Hasan in 1966.
Insan School has just completed its 50 years this year i.e. in November 2016. The school earlier started in the premises of National High School with two students later transformed into a big educational institution offering school to college level education. With over 1000 students and hundreds of teachers, the school became famous for its quality education along with rich culture and tradition. The school was also referred as “Jhonpriyon ka Shahar” for scores of thatched houses sprawling across over 100 acres premises.
Present director, Shefa Hafeez, who is also the son of founder Syed Hasan informed that preparations for golden jubilee celebration are also completed and the school fraternity, is ready to make the event a big success. Adding further, Mr. Hafeez said that the Insan 50 Anniversary is to be organised on the theme “Path of Knowledge, Path of Humanity”. Arts, Debates, Essay and Sport Competitions / Arts, Science & Literary Exhibitions / Models, Stage Shows & Bazaar, Symposium with Guest Speakers, Seemanchal Literary Festival and Award Ceremony are the major highlights of the golden jubilee celebration. Besides, special attention has been given to the alumni of the Insan school / college, and special programmes have been planned for them as well. The chief guest of Insan 50 Anniversary is Shafique Naiyer, an Alumni of Insan School. All are invited for the grand celebrations and making it a memorable event, appealed Mr. Hafeez .
