Human Chain – as the name suggests is a chain of 'people for the humanity'. A registered society from the Govt. of Delhi under the act 20 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Human Chain is established by the people of Seemanchal region belonging to the districts of Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura and Uttar Dinajpur. The society has working professionals, businessmen, students and common people from various parts of Seemanchal and also from other parts of Bihar. Human Chain also has members from other states of India and abroad as well especially in UK (United Kingdom) and UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Vision of Human Chain
The vision of Human Chain is crystal clear, in simple it is formed to ‘serve the mankind’ in various ways as per requirements. The vision of Human Chain has no boundaries and it is always ready to help the humanity. By raising above the casteism and community wise boundaries people have joined hands in this society.
Mission of Human Chain
Human Chain has a big mission that covers almost every aspect to serve the society. Education is the prime focus of Human Chain. In addition to this, the society intends to contribute in health and sanitation, assistance in natural calamity and many other related areas. Although the society is established primarily to serve the area of Seemanchal but it is also open to work in other parts of Bihar and country.
Aims and Objective of Human Chain
i) Education Sector:
• The areas we are legging behind.
• Quality Education for citizens of Seemanchal.
• Education Awareness Programme by counseling in schools, blocks and major places
• Educational camps in villages, blocks
• Educational Fair at district level participated by students of schools and madarsas.
• Education quizzes to generate interest among children in schools / madarsas
• Making the students aware about future courses
• Magazines for social development monthly, fortnightly or monthly.
• Free Coaching centres for students enrolled in government schools
• Getting the financially weak students admitted in reserved seats (for poor students) in schools and colleges
ii) Health Sector:
• Health and Sanitation awareness programmes
• Medical Camp at every block and district headquarters
• Assistance to poor people for getting the treatment in hospitals of the area.
• Also providing them assistance if they come for treatment in hospitals like AIIMS
iii) Other Areas:
• Relief Programme for flood and other natural calamity
• Helping the people in case of natural calamity
• Need of establishment of small scale industries like jute products, banana chips, litchi juice, etc.
• Small scale industries scope - there are many ways like we can train youths and elders for techniques like jam making, achar making and women can work in handicrats (kashidakari)
• Ways to curtail the mass migration to other states for employment
• Helping the Child labourers from Seemanchal working in hotels and other factories of Delhi and other cities
• Sorting the problems faced by common people in bureaucratic offices like BDO, SDO and DM offices
• Sorting the problems faced by common people in getting the certificates like Caste, Reservation etc.
• Working with other organization having common issues / problems
• Issues related to disabled children and people of the district. There is no any school or organization for disabled people of the area
