Calling all the allegations wrong, the District Magistrate of Kishanganj Dr. Sandeep Kumar told the media that the 224.02 acres of land transferred to AMU administration for establishing the special centre is completely uncontroversial. Speaking to the local media the DM said that the Government of Bihar had transformed 116.53 acres land in Chakla Mauja and 107.49 acres land in Govindpur Mauja that altogether makes 224.02 acres. The land transferred to AMU on December 30, 2011 after the signing of agreement between District Administration and AMU Registrar doesn’t belong to tribals.

Dr. Sandeep said those who are making false claim for this land are unnecessarily creating fuss and misguiding the people. If such people start doing unlawful act for the legally transferred land of Bihar Government, the administration will take legal action them, added the DM. During the talk with media persons that DM clarified that in Chakla and Govindpur mauza there are 11 khesras and total land available is 419. 62 acres. Out of this 190.80 acres land has been allotted to tribals and rest of the land belongs to AMU for establishing the centre.

Although the DM of Kishanganj has clarified the things regarding the land of AMU and given an explanation to those making false claim for 224.02 acres land. However, the land of AMU is eyed by bad elements time-to-time and they create problems on the site by various means. Eight months have passed since the agreement is signed between Bihar Govt and AMU administration but the UPA government at the Centre has not taken any step to proceed the construction work ahead. In this current scenario the AMU Kishanganj lovers and people of Seemancal are in dilemma and all eyes are fixed to the national capital New Delhi.
