HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) Bank, one of India’s leading private bank has reached to Kishanganj district of Bihar. The branch of HDFC was inaugurated on Monday (April 15, 2013) by District Magistrate Aditya Kumar Das on Sadar Hospital Road. After cutting the ribbon of HDFC Bank Kishanganj, the DM of Kishanganj inspected the first branch in district. The ATM counter of HDFC Bank was also inaugurated by Mr. Das in presence of branch manager and other staff.
HDFC Branch Manager Satyaprakash said that keeping in mind the growing business in the town the bank has opened its branch in Kishanganj. It should be noted that HDFC is having 2776 branches and 10743 ATMs in 1568 cities of the country. The businessmen and common people are happy with the new branch of HDFC as it would reduce the burden in other banks of the town.
Kishanganj is having branches of other banks prominent among them are State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, etc.
