AMU Kishanganj! University takes control over Minority hostel buildings on Saturday

In a positive development related to establishment of special centre of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) at Kishanganj on Saturday (July 6, 2013) the university has formally taken over two buildings of Ministry of Minority Affairs, govt of Bihar. Prof Javaid Akhtar, former Dean Faculty of Management and OSD (Officer on Special Duty) for AMU Centres visited Kishanganj along with Mr. M Feroz Khan and taken of the charge of the hostels from District Magistrate.

Prof Javaid Akhtar shared the information with Editor KishanganjBihar.com and said that he and Mr. Khan were deputed by Pro Vice Chancellor AMU for the official visit to Kishangaj for taking over the minority hostels. Prof Akhtar said that they were warmly greeted by Kishanganj DM Aditya Kumar Das and officials of the district administration. When asked about DPR (Detailed Project Report), Prof Akhtar said that the required amount is submitted with the agency EdCIL and within a week or two they will handover the project report. Akhtar said that once the DPR is submitted before the MHRD the required funds would be sanctioned for AMU Kishanganj.
