Fake Encounter specialist D G Vanzara blames Amit Shah for misguiding Narendra Modi
In a 10-page resignation letter dated September 1 and addressed to the additional chief secretary (home), Suspended Gujarat IPS officer Vanzara has accused the state government, particularly former minister of state for home Amit Shah, of betraying him and 31 other police officials arrested in encounter cases being probed by the CBI. Accusing the Narendra Modi government of failing to protect its "loyal soldiers" who had acted under its "direct instructions", suspended IPS officer D G Vanzara, facing charges of conspiracy and murder in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh, Tulsiram Prajapati and Ishrat Jahan encounter cases, has resigned from service. Vanzara has been lodged in jail since his arrest in April 2007. However, surprisingly and shockingly no hue and cry is made by the opposition party Congress for resignation of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for the alleged involvement in fake encounter cases.
