Let me reveal the identity of Alimuddin Ansari, the AAP
candidate from Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency. Alimuddin Ansari is basically
a resident of Purnia district of Bihar, who had contested elections in 2009 for
15th Lok Sabha as an independent candidate. However, he could secure only 5245
votes against 362952 votes of winner Uday Singh Alias Pappu Singh of Bharatiya
Janata Party.

After losing the election in 2009 from Purnia, Alimuddin
Ansari didn’t join any political party. However, after the emergence of Aam
Aadmi Party as political party he joined movement and became the party
activist. Keeping in mind the past contribution of Alimuddin Ansari the state
unit of party had recommended his name for Kishanganj Lok Sabha seat.
His address as per 2009 affidavit says his personal details
as S/O Late Abdul Hafiz, Age 54 years (now 59 years), Address – Housing Colony,
Purnia (Bihar). He doesn’t have any criminal record and carrying a clean image.
Alimuddin Ansari is a High School pass from Dhamdaha, Purnia in 1969.
The candidature of Alimuddin Ansari on AAP ticket is getting
mixed response from the people of Kishanganj. Since Kishanganj is a Surjapuri
speaking belt, the people are not in mood to franchise their vote to an
outsider. Next, Alimuddin Ansari himself is not a popular name in comparison to
other candidates from Kishanganj. It would be interesting to see, how Alimuddin
performs in the election and gets how much vote?? Harsh truth, AAP has perhaps
