The Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar has invited applications for admission in forthcoming session (2016-17) various courses at Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels. The University has proposed to offer a number of programmes (courses) under different schools, namely Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com - Hons), Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Hindi and English, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Social Work (MSW). The selection will be made based on the online test to be conducted by the University. All applicants seeking admission to a UG or PG programme of study shall be required to appear in a single common entrance examination i.e either the GET (Graduate Entrance Test) / MET (Masters Entrance Test) respectively, which will be held at the following centres:
(i) Motihari (Bihar) (ii) Patna (Bihar) (iii) Ranchi (Jharkhand) (iv) Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) and (v) New Delhi
Note: Dependeing upon the total number of applicants, examination centres may be changed. If there are less than 50 candidates registering for any of the aforementioned centres, then in that case the centre may be cancelled and students may be allotted to other centres. Hence, students are advised to mention at least three choice of centres in the descending order of preference. The same would be displayed on the University website / Hall Ticket.
