Kishanganj: A Collective March Towards Development

0
We are more than 13 lakhs now, let’s put Kishanganj in a collective march towards development.
Possibilities are enormous and so are the challenges. In a fast changing scenario in and around, we not only have to keep up with the culture and values that we have set forward as a resident of Kishanganj but we need to keep the pace of development dynamic. We are far behind than the others in terms of education, employment, poverty eradication, medical & health facilities, agricultural facilities and many more that you can continue to count. It’s not about looking to others for the work and effort but it is all about a collective responsibility.

If each one can share the vision of a dream Kishanganj then why cannot each one share the work and the passion to transform ourselves into better individuals, better humans and better residents.

Often we have talked about it and discussed this at length, in schools, in debates, in colleges, with elders and with young folks, with fellows and friends and I mean on various platform at many capacities. We are called a country where everyone has some opinion or the other. Let me assure you, this time when we form that opinion certainly not on lines of political or social groups, castes , religions , sects but on the lines of progress and development of the district and the futuristic vision. Most of the times we have concluded in our lengthy debates on the ways to get our district forward is through education , is through women empowerment , through youth participation ,through responsibility sharing, through getting reservations in jobs, through peoples participation and specially through the initiatives taken by our MLAs and MPs.

Who can understand the plight of the youth of today, needs of the farmers, under par policy of education, fraudulent governance, unmet needs of reproductive & child health and other medical & health facilities etc you can add on than a common person who has been in the system , who has been the witness of all misdemeanor by various authorities and representatives, who has been striving for a social change through education and put himself in the process for long, who has been motivated and determined to get a podium to serve the community. What our brothers and sisters need, what are their priorities and what are their ambitions and goals.
I am not being overtly optimistic, rather I am excited on the fact that someone who is just like us has been elected first time as a Member of Parliament by our enthuse and motivated people of Kishanganj.

We needed someone who understands how difficult is to manage expectations of individual and community in this cut throat world , how difficult is to meet the needs of livelihood, who understand what it takes to be able to get an employment , what it takes to survive in this era. One who has gone through the influences of the traditional roots and the modern amenities, one who knows how and when to make compromises, one who knows how to outline the rules of development at this competitive age with the vision of the future. One who does not look back at what he lost but one who knows that the future lies in moving on, in learning from our experiences, in adapting and in evolving.

If not anything else it is that nice feeling of freshness. It is that nice fragrance where we can associate ourselves with people who see future with vision and mission. Till the day we start associating with our politicians, till we start seeing our reflections in them we will never be able to assert or ignite that passion.

Let us stand united, let us show support, let us pledge help and extend brilliant and indigenous ideas to make the "common" dream, the dream of you and me and of everyone a reality. It is time that we move on, we move on from the new promises based on the interest of mass, new philosophies and ideologies and the new face and the extended families in the politics of our beloved district. Since our so called "leaders" of the past could not do better for us, let us all show solidarity with the "common man" Maulana Asrarul Haq Qasmi on a provided platform for a change and reform and I am sure a shining future is just ahead!!!
