Bihar CM strictly warns intruders (tribals) not to gaze on AMU Kishanganj land

A day after the tribal people tried to take over the AMU Kishanganj site and performed the ‘Puja’, Bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar went heavily against the intruders. On Monday in his address to media Nitish said that strict action would be taken against those attempting to grab the land or create disturbance on the 224.02 acres plot allotted to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in Kishanganj. In fact, for the first the Chief Minister of Bihar has used issued such tough warning for the anti-social and communal forces eyeing the AMU Kishanganj land.


Nitish said two vehicles and some arms were seized and two persons were arrested. "Whosoever with ulterior motive tries to create disorder will be firmly taken to task," said the CM. He said two vehicles, both bearing the registration number of Jharkhand, were seized from the spot and two of the tribal leaders were taken into custody. Nitish also asked the AMU authorities to start work on the land without further delay to avoid such unlawful act done by tribal people.
