FIR lodged against 150 persons for performing 'Bhumi Pujan' on AMU Kishanganj land

Taking a strong action against the tribal miscreants for violating the law and order on AMU Kishanganj land the district administration has lodged an FIR against 150 persons. The cases have been lodged under various sections in connection of ‘bhumi pujan’ performed on the 224.02 acres AMU Kishanganj land. The FIR had been lodged under various sections of the IPC including 307 and 505. As per official sources, the Kishanganj police have seized two vehicles one of which is belonging to the wife of Babu Lal Tudu, chairman of the state SC/ST commission bearing registration number of Jharkhand. 

Sandeep Kumar Pudakalkatti, District Magistrate of Kishanganj talked to media person and confirmed the FIR lodged against 150 persons. The DM said that stern action would be taken against all those who were behind the puja, which created chaos on the site and neighbouring areas including Chakla village. 

Further Pudakalkatti said that he had already written a letter to AMU administration for taking the possession of land and constructing the boundary. He said the administration would identify all those behind inciting the tribal people for committing such offence and would ensure suitable punishment.
