Sometime pictures tell you the entire story of development of particular region, state and country. Please don’t get me wrong here; I am not talking about the photoshoped pictures. I am talking about the real ones. One of our states was developed by photoshoped pictures only before 2014 LS elections. Okay let us focus on these pictures which were shared by one concerned citizen belonging to Dighal Bank block in Kishanganj district. As they are hopeless and helpless, asked me to raise their voice through this platform.

Dighal Bank falls under the Thakurganj Assembly constituency in Kishanganj District. I was informed that former MP and Minister Mr. Taslimuddin, sitting MP Mr. Asrarul Haque and the local MLA Mr. Naushad Alam made promises for their development in the past.  People belonging to this region are still waiting for the relief especially the bridges and culverts which will ease their miseries. Some of the worst affected areas are Dhantola Panchayat, Harwadanga, Malmali etc. The road between Harwadanga and Malmali is in horrible condition.

Let me tell you they are living in some kind of island especially in rainy season where they have no access to hospitals, market, schools, madrasa and even the cemetery (Qabristan). Unfortunately none of the so called leaders and representatives, policy makers never ever tried to take stock of the situation and except visiting during elections where they make tall promises only. They informed me that this time they are going to boycott the Bihar Assembly Elections. I think somehow their decision is correct as voting does not help them even after 68 years of Independence.

Last week we discussed about the high iron content in drinking water in the district of Kishanganj and adjoining areas. Let help the people of Dighal Bank by raising their voice. I wish and request the stake holders to solve their problem at the earliest and find the permanent solution.
